I am excited to announce that my short film The Great Basin! Or: How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Desert has been awarded Best Environmental film and Best Editing by the International Avant-Garde Film Awards Festival! The Festival will be held in person on Thursday, December 14 from 7-10pm at the Quad Cinema on West 13th Street in NYC. If you are in the City that evening, I would love for you to attend. Let me know, and I will be able to get you in for free. The film is also screening next week at the Internazionale Segni della Notte Festival in Urbino, Italy.
